Margie KleppickExecutive Director Margie joined AHME 20 years ago and was the impetus behind the establishment of CADME. AHME has been a valuable resource to Margie throughout her career. When AHME was looking for new management she was pleased to submit a proposal. With over 20 years in healthcare administration, specifically in medical education management, Margie Kleppick brings a wealth of information and expertise to AHME. As the Executive Director, Margie is responsible for the operation of the headquarters office and oversees the planning and execution of all educational and programmatic initiatives. She represents AHME, on the national level, with other national professional and accrediting bodies and works directly with the Board of Directors of the Association.
Roberta (BJ) CouchDirector of Accounting BJ joined AHME in September, 2000 having worked as a physician office manager and billing supervisor for over 13 years. In her capacity as Director of Accounting she is responsible for managing all of the accounts payable and receivable, budget development and monitoring of financial performance. In addition she tracks conference registration and memberships, and organizes the annual audit of the Association by an independent accounting firm.
Susan AllenDirector of Meeting Services Susan joined AHME in September of 2005 and has worked in marketing, communications and meeting planning for over ten years. In her capacity as the Director of Meeting Services for AHME she will be responsible for coordinating budgeting, marketing and overall development for all of AHME's educational meetings.
Marsha WhiteBookkeeper & Member Services In her role as Bookkeeper and Member Services representative, Marsha is responsible for the functions within the accounting department, including cash flow management, budgeting, collections, financial reporting and analysis. In her involvement with Member Services, Marsha oversees the membership database, new membership processing, invoicing and receivables. In addition to her A.A.S. degree in Accounting, Marsha's prior experience in small, as well as corporate businesses enables her to provide specialized and distinctive skills to the organization. Acknowledged for her academic achievements, Marsha also obtained a Professional Bookkeeper Certification from the Universal Accounting Center; a registered organization with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). NASBA is a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
Sandi ParsonsAdministrative Assistant Sandi joined AHME in December of 2005. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of human resources and currently serves as both Board Secretary and Administrator for a professional non-profit organization. In her capacity as the Administrative Assistant for AHME, she will be responsible for assisting the AHME Guide editor and AHME Newsletter Editor, as well as providing administrative support to the organization.
Roberta (Bobbye) WagnerData Entry/Correspondence Manager Bobbye joined AHME in September, 2000 on a part time basis. She has over 35 years experience in medical information systems. She is currently a Senior Account Representative for UPMC Health System. In her capacity as Data Entry/ Correspondence Manager she is responsible for data entry and retrieval for trend analysis of registration and membership statistics. She appropriately tracks and maintains all the correspondence for the organization.
Bruce ColganWebmaster Bruce's Web site development firm, interteq.com, was contracted starting in October, 2002 to manage the AHME website. A Mechanical/Biomedical Engineer by training, Bruce began developing Web sites in 1994 while working as an engineer/researcher for the Center for Orthopedic Research at Pittsburgh's UPMC Shadyside Hospital. |
