1. Guide to Medical Education in the Teaching Hospital

Description: A practical guide to help you navigate the constantly changing landscape of graduate medical education. Originally published in 1994, the third edition is currently under development. Experts in the field of Graduate Medical Education are contributors to this publication. Chapters are being posted as they are completed, in a special section of this Web site.

Cost: Free for AHME members and $50.00 per year for nonmembers ($25.00 AODME members).

2. Consultant Services

Description: The Council of Administrative Directors of Medical Education has as its goal the building and strengthening of relationships among its members. To this end, CADME is a networking organization that uses the message board, annual business meetings, educational institutes, and informal peer "consultation" relationships so that members can share information, best practices, and solutions. The members of this council span both large and small institutions, and provide a wealth of resources to anyone in need at the program and institutional level. 

Cost: No cost to members of AHME.
