The Council consists of AHME members who have professional interests in the organization, operation, and educational activities of medical education consortia. COMEC's membership is broad-based including persons associated with consortia and those who are not involved in a consortium but have an interest in consortium matters.  There is no additional charge, beyond AHME membership dues, for council membership.

Membership in AHME is required to join any of the Councils.
