EVENTS		AHME 2005 Fall Educational Institute and AHME ACADEMY AHME will be holding the "AHME Academy" on Monday, November 7, 2005 at the Embassy Suites at the Chevy Chase Pavilion. This is a great opportunity for members and those new to hospital based medical education to "learn the basics" in a friendly, informative manner. AHME will be conducting division and committee meetings on Sunday, November 6, 2005. AHME will not be having the usual Fall Educational Institute this year. Over the past few years the attendance for the fall meeting has continuously decreased, and expenses have increased. The AHME programs overlapped significantly with those of the AAMC, the AIAMC and SACME. We hope that the AHME membership will carefully review the AAMC, AIAMC and SACME programs for the meeting, and choose to attend those of interest.
