Iowa Health-Des Moines (IH-DM), an affiliate of the Iowa Health System, has an immediate opening for a Director of Research, Des Moines Iowa. The successful candidate will promote, direct, and administer research activities within our three hospitals and affiliates. The Director will be actively involved with research functions within the five IH-DM residency programs, and will lead the Office of Clinical Trials, promote research activities to external funding agencies, and represent the research interests of IH-DM at state and national levels. This position requires a Ph.D. or M.D., with a minimum of 5 years managerial experience as a research administrator.
