Director of Medical Education / Chief Academic Officer Broward Health - Broward General Medical Center Job Summary: The Director of Medical Education reports within the structure of hospital administration for the oversight, administration, and accountability of the institution's AOA / ACGME approved programs. The DME is responsible for ensuring compliance with accrediting bodies for all residency training programs. Additionally, the Director of Medical Education will develop and implement GME policies, evaluate residency programs, oversee the GME budget, serve as the liaison with any medical school or hospital that the institution may hold an affiliation agreement with, and sit on committees associated with graduate medical education.
