Cooper University Hospital - the leading provider of comprehensive health services, medical education, and clinical research in Southern New Jersey (located within close proximity to Philadelphia) seeks a Director for the Department of Medicine Education Programs. This individual will conduct and oversee the daily operations of the Clinical Cardiovascular, Interventional Cardiology, Cardiology-Electrophysiology, Critical Care, Pulmonary, Nephrology and Rheumatology Fellowship Programs, and the Dermatology and Neurology Residency programs, managing each program's administrative staff and assure full competency.

The Director of Education will work directly with the physician program directors to manage existing residency and fellowship programs as well as develop new fellowship programs, ensuring accreditation standards are met, program policies are established, and recruitment strategies are developed and implemented to ensure success that highly successful fellowship programs are maintained.

Qualified candidates will have extensive knowledge of processes relevant to residency and fellowship programs, including databases, application services, matching services, licensure, visa regulations, accrediting bodies (e.g., ACGME, AOA, ABIM, etc.) and institution and program specific accreditation requirements.

Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field highly preferred; 3-5 years program, budget, and personnel management.
