The MacNeal Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is recruiting for a program director. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and innovative family medicine academician who can provide the necessary energy, vision, and leadership to transform our distinguished program to one of national prominence. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of academic experience preferably in a leadership role. The candidate must have ABFM and/or AOBFM certification, superb communication and team building skills, and a dedicated commitment to providing an outstanding educational experience for our residents.

We are a 12-12-12, unopposed, and dually accredited program with fellowships in Sports Medicine, Women's Health, and Faculty Development. Our program recently was granted full accreditation by the ACGME with a five-year cycle. We are academically affiliated with both the University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine and Northwestern University.

MacNeal Hospital is a 430-bed community teaching hospital which offers a strong infrastructure and a dedicated staff. MacNeal is located in the near western suburbs, just minutes from downtown Chicago.
